Considering the Titans’ season has been plagued by injuries, the primary goal for the 2022 season is to stay healthy. With eight senior starters playing college ball, and eight others on the practice squad, the Titans must be careful to avoid any serious injuries.
After a rough start to the season, the Titans have been putting together a solid campaign. They are 5-2 heading into Week 8, with their next game being against the ninth-ranked Hewitt-Trussville Huskies on Friday. A win will keep them in contention for a region championship. They will host Cullman in the first round of the Class 6A state playoffs on November 4.

Aside from the usual suspects, the camp featured special guest speakers including the aforementioned Kirkpatrick and his teammates as well as some of Alabama’s most prominent players from last season’s crop. The camp is a great way to reunite old comrades and rekindle the passion for the game that made them stars in the first place. The camp has a number of benefits to boot, including free transportation and a free gym membership to boot. In fact, this is the only Friday night game in town and is one of the few nights when there is actually a game on. Among the other benefits is that the camp is a non-profit and the games are capped off by the best free food in town.
While the Gadsden City Titans football program has undergone a major overhaul since last season, there is still a reason to get in on the action. The program has undergone a makeover of its own and features a new coach in former Auburn star Bart Sessions. The program also features a revamped and improved roster. The biggest change is that Emma Sansom, Litchfield and Gadsden High Schools have been merged under the umbrella of Gadsden City.
