Currently, Parrish Community High School is building a football program. They will begin spring football on April 25, 2016, at 5:51 PM. They are building a full schedule for the first year.
Last season, the Parrish Bulls finished with a 3-5 record. They outscored their opponents 127-41, but they lost to Bayshore 51-13.
In their final game of the year, the Parrish Middle School varsity football team defeated Crossler Middle School. Their rushing attack had 22 points in the first half, while the Crocodiles’ defense held them to only 6 points. At the half, the Crocodiles led 24-0.
The Parrish Bulls like to play an attacking defense, but they won’t try to take advantage of an opponent’s strengths. Instead, they will use an 8-man box to dictate their passes.
Several area teams have been forced to start early or end their seasons due to injuries. They’ve also had to adjust their schedules because of pandemic-related attrition.
The Parrish High School volleyball schedule will be updated weekly. The first game will be on Thursday, May 21, and the second will be on Friday, August 23, 2019. The schedule will be available on Hudl. The team will be playing in the WCWJ FCC.
The Parrish Community High School varsity basketball schedule will be posted in 2021. There will be a graduation ceremony in three years.
A drive-through Christmas parade will be held on December 10, and the old Parrish High School field will be the location for the parade.
