The Haleyville Lions have a good chance of making it to the state playoffs, but they will have to win every region game. The Good Hope Raiders are also a good team, and they will have to be careful not to get outscored by the Lions.

Chris Musso’s career as head coach

During his 14 years as head coach of the Haleyville Lions, Chris Musso managed to earn a solid record. He also earned some of the highest honors in the sport. His tenure included two trips to the post season. One was the WFL Pro Bowl in 1974 and the other was the state playoffs in 2011.

He also authored a number of books about the sport. The most interesting was called The Musso of Haleyville: The Story of the Lions, which was published in 2010. Musso is also credited with starting the first varsity football team at the school. He also played for the University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa, where he was an all-American in 1971 and a member of the school’s Hall of Fame in 1989. He also served as the head coach at John Carroll Catholic for five years.

The best part about his tenure was that the Lions enjoyed a winning record for the first time in their history. He was also hired at a modest salary of $70,342 per year. It was a small town, but the community was supportive and the school board was unanimous in its approval. Musso’s successor is Bo Culver, who has announced his return to Haleyville as athletic director and head football coach. The next chapter in the Lions’ storied history will begin in October. The team is now ready to take on its rivals in the upcoming season. It will be a long road ahead for the Lions, but they have the tools and the talent to make the playoffs. Hopefully, they can make it to the state championship game in the next couple of years. Until then, we will be watching the Haleyville Lions with bated breath and hope for the best. Until then, be sure to follow the Haleyville Lions’ Facebook page. They will be updating fans on upcoming events and other important updates.
