Dora High School Football is Heading in the Right Direction

Having played quarterback for the Pop Warner football team, Treecie “TC” Hargroves is now the head coach of the JV team at Dora High School. She also teaches journalism and Intensive Reading. She supervises the production of the school yearbook.

Hargroves’ jerseys bear the number 14. She grew up in Miami, Florida. She played trumpet in her high school band. She continued playing trumpet in college to get into the Miami Hurricanes’ games.

After Pop Warner, she found there were no opportunities for girls to play football. She began playing trumpet in college to get into the games. She now supervises the production of the school yearbook and teaches Intensive Reading. She supervises the JV and varsity special teams.

During the football season, Hargroves is also the head coach of the Hurricanes’ varsity special teams. She is also the head coach of the varsity cheerleading team.
